I have a feeling that this is goign to do to 3rd person shooters what bayonetta did to hack and slash games. No longer will only the hardcore experts be able to play like this and look this good while playing...

I think disolitude's point is that Bayonetta surpassed DMC considerably, and he expects Vanquish to do the same for the TPS genre.

True. But Bayonetta took it on to another level. Adition of that slow motion allows that game to have such insane action while an average player can instinctivly react to whats going on.

DMC is kickass (1 and 3) but its still pretty bloody hard.

This game looks insanely good. Looks like ME2 on steroids.

Must be a Gears vet - he's playing extremely conservatively for most of the vid, which makes sense in Gears but not as much here.

The trailer was pretty awesome (though I hope they fix the dialogue, it was pure torture), but that there was pretty average. Could be the player, I don't know.

I'm not sold just yet.
