You mean how they paused every 2 minutes to try to get a cinematic story going? Army general pep talk, dom this, Maria that, worm sinking cities this, diging a hole that, ride the broomak this...

But funny they didn't notice that the story is laughable and that people want actually to play the game rather than have Marcus walk for 5 minutes at the time and hold his ear talking to command...

Gears 1 had way meatier gameplay with little interuptions which, unless Gears 3 can deliver an oscar worthy story and acting, should be the reason why you bought the game.

I actually agree with Wagram. I enjoyed the campaign in Gears 2 more than in Gears 1.

I thought the Gears 1 campaign sucked. There was just no life in it. and I thought the story they told was kinda bad. The 2nd did what I wanted. a way better story and a better campaign that actually made me want to fight for the characters.

Fair enough... I found both games had terrible story and worse dialoge than most Porn movies. But Gears 1 had funner more challenging gamplay. Everything in Gears 2 was for presentation sake. Like riding that flying creature in Gears 2...dude, not fun!

Gears 2 campaign is better than the first one. I thought that would be a fact by now.

multiplayer was better in the first one of course.
