http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news/a223170/rare-receives-new-logo-for-anniversary.html

Rare will be given a new look as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The Midlands-based studio has unveiled a new logo ahead of a revamped company website this summer.

The image was described as "modern and classic" in a press release from the studio.

"Both Rare and the games industry have seen massive changes over the past 25 years, and right now it feels as if both we and the industry are continuing to evolve at an ever-increasing pace," said studio head Mark Betteridge.

"With this landmark anniversary coming up, and knowing that we have a really exciting future ahead, we felt now was the time to have a new image more in keeping with an innovative and creative entertainment company which aspires to be around for at least the next 25 years!"

Owned by Microsoft Game Studios, the company recently opened a dedicated studio for Natal development in Birmingham, and has been working on Xbox Avatars and dashboard functionality for the Xbox 360 platform for several years.

Looks too simple to me. At least they kept the old logo in it.

Looks boring and conventional. I don't like it personally, but whatever works for the brand I am for it.

But, I kinda liked the old logo

Oh well, I will forgive them if they make a new Jet Force Gemini.

Looks really nice to me.

I dislike it, kinda the end of an era in my opinion.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I like it, a fresh and clean look.

A fresh start for the future of Natal based games.
