These threads are fairly pointless, either company could make some really good or really stupid moves over the next couple years which could shift the results 1 way or another.

I know the impossible is possible !!! I know I understand !!! but do you know real meanin' of this '' It's inavoidable '' the PS3 can't win this war '' everything that has a beginin has an end '' 2007 is the end of the Sony's domination videogames Market Time has come for Nintendo to take his Kingdom !!! and the Loyal Knights are here plus the non gamers ( hehe ) to help us living in prosper kingdom!!!

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Maybe it will dominate Wii when Nintendo moves on to Wii 2 and PS3 is still making games. Being that it's going to be around for 10 years. Isn't that what Sony said long ago?

You know that's a poor analogy.  About the only similarity is that the NES, like the Wii, was pathetic hardware-wise.  That's where the similarities end.
