Actually I dont think the 360 comes with an HDMI cable anymore,  but I could be wrong though.  

Printers used to come with all sort of cables, too.

Then, eventually, you have to buy your own cable. All manufacturer trying to nickle-diming on the cables.

Good thing I've been waiting until after E3 to buy a PS3.

So they're taking a page out of the MS handbook since elites have had HDMI cords packed in since they were announced.

Honestly it's not a bad deal though used to it was 100 dollars for just extra space which you come out ahead buying a laptop hard drive or pulling one out of an old laptop, but for only 50 dollars more and a game comes with it, I can see some value in that now.

I'd say that's a pretty solid bundle.

LBP GOTY Edition, HDMI and 250 GB PS3 for $349 is very very good.

I still need to buy a PS3 Slim.  If I have the money I will get this bundle :).

No longer true for almost a year now. Elite bundles now don't include HDMI nor component cables, only a composite.

um first of all, the PS3 is worth more than "$299" based on what it can do alone, so you should be happy sony is selling it at that price, because that's basically a steal for consumers for what they get.

also 130GB of extra space plus a free netflix trial for $349, isn't a bad deal.. this just adds more value to the 250gb console.. but beforehand I don't think the 250gb was anywhere near a rip off

It does not. It does come with a booklet that has pictures of inbred kids smiling tho...
