Where have you been man Soul Calibur has been on XBLA for a long time now. I believe that is the first Dreamcast game to hit XBLA. It's nice to see them in full force now though.

 

I want Grandia 2 and Skies of Arcadia :D



 How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Not to be a fanchild, but Headhunter DC is an amazing title that blows away the PS2 port. Not to say the PS2 isn't an amazing console, but the DC really never got a chance to flex it's muscle. I remember being so pissed that Headhunter only got a PAL release, until I realized that i could buy a disc and play it no problem.

 

To this day I still buy DC games and HW. I just got a new VMU last month, and bought an upconverting VGA box just a week or so ago. i love the Saturn, but the DC was really the most enjoyment I have ever had in a 2 year lifespan. Nothing else produced as many classic games, in such a short time.

 

Sega we miss you. You always provided the bridge between the faux "mature" of Sony (blood and gust huzzah!), and the saccharin sweet(blood and swearing are EVIL!) iron fisted control of Ninty. Consoles aren't the same with the current pack.

Agreed.

I played this last week on DC emulator for the PC. Still amazing title and looks quite mint in higher rez. Even supports Widescreen with some hacks :) Prolly my top 3 DC games...and I liked it a lot better than MGS2 at the time.

I actually pre-ordered the sequel on Xbox 1 no questions asked...but it wasn't as good sadly.

Nice, it matches GTA4 :)

Metacritic is missing some classic DC games though...where is Resident Evil code Veronica? Sonic Adventure 1? Crazy Taxi 1? Powerstone?

All this talk about old DC games is making me all misty-eyed.

Code Veronica, Crazy Taxi...Grandia II, SKIES OF ARCADIA and you can't forget Jet Set Radio!!  I'd love to have all those games on my 360 as pulling out the DC always seems like such a hassle.

Good to see Grandia II, Skies of Arcadia and Jet Set Radio were mentioned!

Headhunter and Shenmue I & II !!! Dreamcast was the last REAL console, IMO.

I had so much fun with my DC. There were so many gems on that console. From Code Veronica & Powerstone to Chu Chu Rocket & Sega Swirls.
