I think in the end that SMG will outsell Halo 3 just because the Wii will continue to grow and SMG will be the game everyone would recognize. The x360 had all their big games come out and still can't surpass the Wii, PS3 is going to overtake the x360 by the end of next year and hopefully microsoft will stop making broken game machines. Also, I think Halo is one of the most overrated series..

I think the prelim charts and others charts back up my theory on this one, mario is ALREAD probably nearing 2.5 million WW, will make 4 by dec. 31st, then pass halo Early in Q2, if its legs are weaker then I forsee then maybe by next christmas

Even now there are still people saying it's going to sell 20 million+?  LOLOLOLOLOLOL :)

The most recently released Super Mario Brothers (New Super Mario Brothers) outsold all Halo games handily. 20 million for SMG may be high, depending on the final Wii installed base.  It's way too early to tell.  But chances are it will leave Halo 3 in the dust.

You guys think all of a sudden Halo 3 will stop selling? I mean, Halo 3 already has more sales than Super Mario Sunshine.

Using New Super Mario Bros.'s sales as evidence to Galaxy outselling Halo 3 is stupid. The DS is a handheld system, has a lot more sold than the Wii (always will), and costs less.

No Halo won't stop selling... but, it is already out of the top 20, and this is the biggest time of year, it will be in the top 50-100 forever, MG will be in top 25 forever.

Galaxy will have legs that ensure the game will still sell more then 10k a week next year (look at TP for example)... And i guess it'll keep doing so for the next... 2 years or so.

Galaxy total sold in a couple of years will surpass Halo 3 total sold! I'm willing to make a bet on that!

Actually I would like say that Galaxy will be selling 10-15k weekly when Halo 4 is realesed! (which know will be about 2.5-3 years from now)
