that's what loved from nsmbwii levels, simple, but effective and well done

The level design in NSMBWii is excellent, but not on top of what Nintendo has made.
i like how a lot of levels in nsmbw are made with speedrunning in mind. some levels are made to be easier if you choose to speedrun it rather than take it slow.
come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1
you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312
yes, this is vonboy's alt account. i can't log into my original account, and i'm not sure if i will ever be able to.

Wow, very cool! Never knew the points-1up momentum carried over after yoshi swallows the player!
But on topic! Yes they're great! But the next game is going to be even better, because to me this is Mario 3, while the next will be Mario World... bigger and better (no, it does not need to be more badass)
From the very first level, with the revolving ground with pipes tucked inside and the propeller suit, you could tell how unbelievably good the game was going to be.
My favorite level has to be the one where you ride the dragon bone platform as it speeds through the level. Pure fun.
As for the super skills videos, those are just sickening. =O

Me neither. That adds a lot to the multiplayer in my opinion. Now I gotta get my brothers to come home and play along anytime soon.
Didn't know either that you were supposed to see those videos. I was collecting the coins, ala Yoshi's Island, but somehow I thought they were providing you with solutions and taking all the fun away. I even thought you were "penalized" for watching them.
The brilliance also comes from the fact that each stage introduces some new element. It's really a growing experience.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Yeah, that one was fun. Try it with multiple people. It's crazy as you all fight for your life (and it ends really quickly).
What's unbelievable is how lazy, uninspired, unimaginative, and derivative. It's a crappier game than a indie digital title, and you should be ashamed of supporting it.
