I'm sure Nintendo fans would disagree...especially after the reviews SMG2 have been getting.

Anyway, I don't think there really is a 'single' best console developer. I'd take the opinion that there are a dozen or so extremely talented developers. Still, good for ND to receive such praise from another developer.

You think lowly of them b/c you don't like their games? Borderline trolling IMO.

I didn't like mario galaxy much but I'd be stupid (or a troll) to say that the team responsible for the game aren't amongst the best developers of the world. 

as much as i like naughtydog and uncharted, nothing can beat Polyphony digital....those guys have enough facilities for the employees to live there.
i dont count nintedo devs because they make their 5gb games in a basement using pentium 3 processors.

Great developers, oh yes. They can't hold a candle to Nintendo, Bioware, Kojima, Valve, Bethesda, or Blizzard though. They need a few more AAA's under their belt before they can be put in that company.

They're about on the same level as Epic games. Every game they make is fantastic, and revolutionary, but there is a tier of elite developer slightly above them that are strong enough to on their own, revive entire consoles.

With ND, if Uncharted 2 wasn't released yet, this assertion would be ridiculous.

Still, this topic is about this generation ONLY. However, I still have a hard time believing Uncharted 1 and 2 are better than Mario Galaxy 1,2, Brawl, Kart, Bowser's Inside Story, and Twilight Princess this gen.

Also, I think Portal and Half-Life 2 are both better games than Uncharted 2. I think World of Warcraft is a better game than Uncharted 2. I think MGS4 is a better game than Uncharted 2. I think Mass Effect 2 is just about par with Uncharted 2. I think Red Dead Redemption is BETTER than Uncharted 2, and I think Fallout 3 is better than any game I've mentioned so far.

This is just my opinion though, and it's great to hear developers praising each other.

For the record, Bower's Inside Story and Brawl weren't developed by Nintendo but other than that I approve of your respectful post

I cant agree with that....with developers like Valve, Rockstar , Bioware , Bungie , Nintendo etc. out there I really cant see ND catalog of games beating out either of them.

what do you expect ?

360 and PS3 are not so far from twin in term of absolute horse power meaning that Naught would just make Uncharted 3 on 360 like they are doing on PS3
