I agree with the law though, I wouldn't want illegal immigrants coming into my neighbourhood, they'll probably just steal and destroy things because they have no money or jobs.

Also on a separate note, why do Mexicans come to America to live a better life, why not stay in Mexico and try to do something to improve not only your life but your community as well.

that's because the drug cartels run the country. The police and goverment are filled with corruption. There's been thousands of deaths over there. If you don't do what the drug cartels want,then you die. If your an illegal immigrant,you can find someone to hire. There not going to steal and destroy things, because there not going to take the chance of getting deported. So that's just a bad assumption on your part. I believe in some kind of guess worker program,that the goverment keeps talking about.

On a theoretical level, the law is a good idea, but its utterly impractical in the world we live in. There's no way it won't be abused like hell by the Arizonan police. No way.

This is what immigration does. It hijacks the country from within. This is just another example of it.

So now you aren't even allowed to control the legal status of people in the USA because immigrants who are already there might get upset and pull out the racist card. What does that lead to? More illegal immigrants will come in knowing they can't be kicked out since no methods of control are allowed in the US.

Legal immigration and illegal immigration are vastly different in how they impact the immigrants, the people in the community they move into, and the society on the whole. In a large part because they have no status within a country, illegal immigrants are heavily exploited by individuals within their host country; and working for less than minimum wage for excessive hours in dangerous conditions is often one of the better outcomes they face.

To see the impact on individuals, consider what happens to the legal unskilled labour when they face a job market where employers are forced to pay them two or three times as much as someone who is in the country illegally. While it would be unfair to attribute it entirely to illegal immigration, illegal immigration is certainly one of the reason why the unemployment rate is so bad for people with a high school education (or less)

Finally, there is the community on the whole which faces a massive population increase from people who don’t pay taxes because they’re neither citizens nor are paid through legitimate channels.
