Back in my day, those kids in Africa with no clean water had parents who worked in slave-like conditions AND the kids worked in slave-like conditions, too. Those African kids have it so good, nowadays.

sorry, ill just keep saying it in an agressive way and get others to help me gang up on any opposing ideas, then no doubt you will come round to my way of thinking...we wouldnt want anyone to be thinking for themselves now would we? things in the world might actually get better if that happens.

Back in my day, we were brainwashed to think that it doesn't AND to believe that we weren't brainwashed.

pron? do you mean prom? Thats like the final ball thing schools/colleges do, whats that got to do with a floppy disc?
Oh, my god.
Are you serious?
You're being serious.
Oh boohoo, we have air-conditioning (actually my school doesn't) and a better handheld. Our lives are so much better. I mean, it's not like WE'RE not raised by single mothers or are poor. We don't have a lot of stress since there's nothing to worry about.
The frivolous luxuries you described (which is moot if you can't AFFORD it) make our lives so much easier and we don't have any other turmoil in our lives.
Yeah, it sucks to be a kid 20 years ago.

On the topic I consider myself very lucky yes.
