Back in my day, those kids in Africa with no clean water had parents who worked in slave-like conditions AND the kids worked in slave-like conditions, too.  Those African kids have it so good, nowadays.

yeah, because the cheap clothes you buy these days are made in 3rd world nations elsewhere instead are they?
