ok,be that as a may. Halo Reach is gonna be nowhere near Halo 3 in terms of sales...Its 4th Halo on xbox 360 already.

And its the second full game Halo on the 360, so yeah at the very worst it will get somewhat worse then Halo 3 did for sales.

Halo Reach is gonna be the best FPS out this year by a HUGE margin so why wouldn't it sell a ton of copies.


What do you mean by  ''full games''? Both Halo Wars and ODTS were sold at the full price. And no one is saying that Halo Reach wont sell tons of copies. And i dont how can you say ''by a HUGE margin'' without playing either one of the games

I have played Halo Reach so yes I do know.

ok lets pretend a BETA is a full game, did you played COD: Black Ops?

No but Halo Reach is better then Halo 3, and Halo 3 is better then MW2 which is by far the best COD game ever made and Black Ops is made by Treyarch so it probably won't be as good as MW2.

ODST is not an expansion, since it was sold at full price on 2 discs. the only thing that was the same with Halo 3 was the multiplayer. And Halo 1 and 2 were really the ONLY ''must have'' games for original Xbox. Halo 3 sold more because it was a first Halo this gen, and it launched on much more succesful console than original Xbox. I excpect Halo Reach to sell 7-9 million copies and Black Ops 8-9.5 million copies



HALO 3 ODST is an expansion thats why it still had halo 3 in the title. and you are entitled to your own oppinion about halo reach'es sales. but 7-9 million is low.  halo reach is on pase to pass halo 3's numbers in america and only a little behind what MW2 got. here im talking about preorders

at 12 weeks left to go mw2(360 version) had 430k

at 15 weeks left to go halo reach has 300k. it got about 30k preorders this week. over the next 3 weeks if it averges 40k preorders then it should be at 420k with 12 weeks left. i think it will average a bit higher.

so first week sales worldwide should come in no lower then 4.5 million copies. even with bad legs it should pass 9m copies

i dont know how can you say a BETA is better than a full game, and agian, you dont know if Black ops is gonna be better or worse than MW2.we dont have any hints or anything that shows that Black Ops will be inferior to MW2. I enjoyed WaW much more than COD4 and it was made by treyarch.

first week sales dont matter as much as the legs. ODST had a strong launch week but it didnt have strong legs (on Halo game standards). And if ODST was an expasion, it was probably biggest rip off ever. becaue the only thing new in ODST was incredibly short campaign and the multiplayer was the same as halo3's. No one is denying that Halo reach wont have a higher openning week than Halo 3 ( i think it will do 4.2-4.5 million) but it wont have the Halo 3 legs. The game is 3 years old and is still selling. its something i cant see Reach doing.
