Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Predictions for E3 2010

E3 is coming pretty soon, so I think we should have a list of predictions coming soon, no?  Here's mine:

-Info on 3DS, Vitality Sensor, Metroid Other M, and Zelda 2010 (naturally)

-Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Tales of Graces all confirmed for localization (hopefully)

-A couple of "unannounced" projects, both 1st and 3rd party alike.

-New Wii titles from Capcom (since they recently had success with Tatsunoko AND MH3).

-More info on DQX.

Just my thoughts.

That Sounds about right. But I hope Nintendo has a lot of surprises up their sleeve. The Wii is beginning to look very dated and with M$ and Sony releasing motion controls the need something to prove the Wii is still relevant.

  3DS FC: 4355-9313-6815

I do too, particularly 3rd party titles. Of course, that latter hope may be somewhat small, but hey, I can dream, can't I?

X will be the showstopper for TGS.

The rest of those predictions are more or less guarantees, except the Capcom thing, though i'll put in a bet for that happening, too.

My riskier predictions are going to be a new IP from Retro Studios, as well as Kirby Wii appearing in some form, either mentioned in passing or appearing on the floor.

3DS has something besides "3d" visuals that will make everyone gasp and holler.

Vitality Sensor will blow everyone away when they see how it actually works (with WiiRelax). (EAD5)

Zelda Wii will make the core gamers jizz in their pants. (EAD3)

Wii Party will make the casual gamers jizz in their pants. (EAD2)

Nintendogs n' Cats for 3DS. 3D pets come out of the screen and you can pet them with your stylus (EAD1)

Super Mario 3D. Completely new Mario game for the 3DS that uses the "3d" element in a unique way (EAD Tokyo)

Pikmin Wii or 3DS (EAD 4)

Project Hammer w/ Motion Plus support (probably renamed) (Retro Studios)

Wii Ride w/ the saddle peripheral (not kidding there was a patent for this) (EAD 2)

New Wii Remote w/ motion+ included. Bundled w/ Zelda.

New Donkey Kong (Next Level Games)

-Zelda

-3DS

-Vitality Sensor as well as unveiling new game for it

-Wii Party WITH online capability

-Xenoblade announced for NA

-The Last Story announced for NA

-Retro studios new game....maybe a trailer

-Pikmin 3

-A new casual IP

With alot already spilled about E3 its not so much speculation as fact (At least alot of it) but here are my predictions (Dreams)

Wii

-LOZWii

-WiiParty

-WiiRelax (Vitality sensor game)

- 4 other Vitality Sensor titles (Third party/first party combined)

-Pikmin 3

- Kirby (long overdue)

- Retro's new game

- New Mario game (Unknown title/genre)

- New Pokemon game (Genious Sonority)

DS

-Pokemon Black and White

-GoldenSunDS

-A new Final Fantasy

-A new Mario game

3DS

- 5 new first party launch titles

-7 third party launch titles

I think Nintendo will begin to withdraw from the DS starting this year. I think alot of the new DS stuff will be third party. Nintendo will put a huge emphasis on 3DS and the Wii Vitality Sensor as well as WiiParty which will be one of Nintendo's biggest titles. Notice I only predicted first party stuff, mainly because I think third parties will be divided this year. I think Sega and UbiSoft will have a bigger Wii/3DS presence.

Now not predicting but hoping I would love to see Donkey Kong or StarFox present at this E3 on either Wii or 3DS.
