You can turn off the sound on your internet browser, that's what I do.

You can mute them. There is a button on the top right of the add. Thats if your talking about the vanish add anyway.

I don't usually have the sound system on when i am surfing the web. Unless i go to gametrailers or Utube.
I see no ads.... FF + Adblock plus + Noscript = no ads unless I want them.
