maybe i'm just too well off or something but $150 is a nothing cost imo. if it comes with a game at that price it's pretty much an impulse buy as far as i'm concerned.

But shouldnt a peripheral usually have just a standard price?  This shouldnt be depicted as a console where many will wait for a price cut. 

I feel if the initial price of Natal to be $149, many parents would turn away from this and would rather pick up a Wii.  Even if getting a Wii will overall be more expensive when adding extra controllers for more players, but the fact that parents will already have an idea of what games the Wii offers will be more in favour than Natal. 

That price is prohibitive. Not saying that its going to fail (hard to say until we've seen the software), but I just don't see it being a big success with that price.

PS3+Move bundle and 360+'Natal' bundle will keep price of entry too high this holiday. Suddenly I'm not so confident about console sales rebounding later in the year . . .

Edit: For the record, this IS just a rumor (as are the Move ones).  But this close to E3, rumors like these tend to turn into fact pretty quick.

Dude whats with the high prices...Now Im not so confident that these peripherals will be successful anymore...and Unless move and Natal have mind blowing games for them...I think I would much rather just buy a wii

If it is $150. Then they will fail to sell it. Parents aren't going to dish out 150 MORE dollars for a peripheral for a console of which they spent 50 dollars more for.

That is just stupid of them.

Oh yikes! That's $50 too much for Natal and $100 too much for Natal+Arcade. :/

didnt microsoft say a while back that NATAL will be like other hardware in that costs over time will come down.

if it is $150 then its obviously an expensive peice of kit to make, its not like its costing them $2 then there selling for $150

imo its likely to be $100 with a game, and $249 bundled with an arcade

too expensive for a 1.3mpx camera and a cmos sensor.

And $60 is too expensive for a dvd or blu ray.
