Prince of Persia flopped more than MnR :)

Just what I was going to say, games like MNR will have constant legs rather than massive upfront sales. 

Once the load patch comes out I imagine it will will get a boost too (even though I haven't found the load times that bad at all).

Brilliant game. 

I am very confident that MNR will sell a lot over the next few months and years. There is nothing like it on the PS3 and it is really appealing, maybe not as easy to play as Mario Kart, but appealing in many other ways.

On a different note, can anyone spell PSP?

look at facts. mario kart sold nearly 600k (more than 10x modnation) in europe first week. it wasn't a small game that suddenly sprouted legs. it was a huge game to begin with.

modnation is nothing compared to mario kart. don't expect this to suddenly sell like crazy. it received mediocre reviews, and it doesn't have mario on the cover. get over it. modnation is a flop and nothing will save it.

I would expect Modnation Racers to have basically no drop next week, in EU.

MarioKart was around for a decades and it's Nintendo flagship series. The reason why people are saying that it will have legs is not because of what MarioKart did, but because Play, Create and Share titles aren't frontloaded and the community can keep them running for a long time. Also it's not a first day must buy, but down the line most of the people will pick it up, because cart racers are fun.

MondationRacers has the same meta rating as MarioKart Wii, so yours "it's nothing compared" is a huge pile of bullshit. The only flop here is your post.
