Did you take part in PSN game sharing?

So you have been banned for last 3 months? They can't just change the PSN id? You was so close to 100k points in KZ2. :(

Hey man!  I know, they hosed me!  I wasn't playin online cuz of school and work, so didn't have a lot of free time.  Now that I do have more free time, they ban me! Lame.

I'm calling them today to see if they can just change my ID to a less offensive one, or if I have to start over.

@zlejedi  I have a good friends account on my PS3 because we used to hang out at each others houses and play on our own accounts online.  They didn't cite that as a reason for the ban though.

Have you tried contacting them to see if you can get the name changed and/or have info moved to new account? I mean if you had money in your PSN I'd figure they'd be able to refund/transfer some how.

There's millions of PSN accounts.  Sony can't ban all of them right away.  It'll most likely take time.

I don't think you can change your PSN ID but you can change your password. Best to call Sony to see if they can change it or transfer your trophies to a new account.

I was never one to make grossly immature names, but this comes off as a big warning to everyone else now. So, uh, SOMEthing good came out of it?

So what's the deal? did they allow you to change name and keep trophy's etc?

I think that it's time you change your PSN ID to one that will be the envy of everyone. JstnBieber
