Wii 120m

I'd love to see a breakdown for each year 2010 to 2016... very intreresting.

PS3 - 45 (massive move movement moves consoles)
Wii - 80 mill (wii sales slow down considerably)

2011

PS3 - 60 (Move hit's it's stride?)
Wii - 90 (slows down dramatically)

2012

PS3 - 80 (Move and PS3's peak)
Wii - 97 (stays stable)

2013

PS3 - 95 (move slows down)
Wii - 103 (almost dead)

2014

PS3 - 110 (stays stable)
Wii -  111

2015

PS3 - 118
Wii - 116

2016

PS3 - 124
Wii - 120

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Wii 120 million seems a good low end estimate, the PS3 won't make 100 million though.

Also I think the strategy analytics "prediction" had a time limit of the end of 2012 too... that's 2.5 years from now... and is about 3.5 years from when they made the prediction.

Wii - 71M
PS3 - 35M

(and then a miracle happens)

2016:

Wii - 120M
PS3 - 124M

That's pretty much the only breakdown that makes sense. That, or all the factories making the Wii burn down at the same time, and even then, by the time they rebuild, the Wii will still be in front.

it's simpaler then that. if wii2 comes out in 2012 (which is to early for my laste) like everybody thinks, nintendo will disscontinue the Wii.
