Forums - Microsoft - Robbie Bach is retiring

So rumor no more Robbie Bach is leaving MSFT. CNBC also reporting that Jason Allard has been asked to leave.

That's okay. I always got him confused with Mattrick anyway.

By "retiring" does that mean, MS is letting me "retire" rather than saying I was fired?

Indeed.

Time to polish up that resume?

what? Robbie has done a awesome job leading the xbox and Running the E&D. His been with MFST since 1988. He has earned the right to decide when he wants to leave. So don't start with the retarded spam posts.

Out with the old, in with the new, it seems.

not really much of a change yet. Don Mattrick will continue to lead the Interactive Entertainment Business, and Andy Lees will continue to lead the Mobile Communications Business. So its not like they are gutting the Division.

Spam?  I don't think you understand the definition of the word if that's what you think my post was.

I was simply asking a question.  Large world business decisions and announcements are rarely as clear as they seem.  If he is retiring of his own will and MS had no influence whatsoever in his retiring, then great.  It was just a simple question, bud.

Didn't the father of Xbox also quit? Forgot his name, but that's how it is when you're not a loudmouth. It wasn't that long ago, either.
