Cool! I hope they really succeed on this new partnershiip, they deserve the best. I wonder if they are still producing others PS3 exclusives?

Edit: LOL ignore my question, Palancas7 answered with some news before I posted.

This is not huuuuuge only because all insomniac games are sony's IPs.
So, yeah, now that I think about it... meh, it's not meltdown news.

I was expecting this, and to be honest, I don't expect their multiplatform game to perform very well.

Looks like they will. Sony say they'll unveil their PS3 exclusive in the near future.

Insomniac has fancied Xbox 'for many years'

Tuesday 25-May-2010 4:00 PM Resistance studio says it's been eyeing up MS's platform for a while
Insomniac Games had been considering a move onto Xbox 360 "for many years" - before today's announcement of its first ever multiplatform project.

The developer has remained PlayStation-only for the last 16 years - creating franchises such as Resistance and Ratchet & Clank for all three generations of Sony's platforms.

The firm has garnered plenty of loyalty from PS3 diehards - who have been impressed by its decision to dismiss the chance to develop for rival platforms.

However, Insomniac CEO Ted Price told CVG today:

"We've talked for many years now about our desire to reach a broader audience on the Xbox 360 with our games.

"Working with EA Partners - one of the best multiplatform publishers in the world - allows us to do that, as well as retaining the rights to our intellectual property."

I'd really like to see something different than ratchet and resistance on the ps3 so i guess this is good news
