I've been browsing a lot of domestic forums lately, and I've found that here in Norway, Vgchartz has a bad reputation! They have little to no faith in its accuracy! How's the rest of the world fare in comparison?

Anyway, I'm working on it, trying to prove them wrong and convince them to take the numbers seriously.

It seems to be fairly reliable, the numbers seem to be pretty close to official numbers when they are released, although I can imagine a few Sony/Microsoft supporters would find some of the numbers difficult to accept.

 Mostly overtracking, they seem to claim that you're faltering blindly every month before NPD hits. Actually, a lot of people don't realize you even use the NPD at all...

 Bare søk opp "Vgchartz tall" og lignende på google så renner det på med folk på forskjellige forum slik som Sol og Diskusjon.no som har liten til ingen tro på Vgchartz tallene! Skammelig!

You're right, this needs to be fixed, and I intend to get on it as a part of the press team in here! 

Not great reputation in France too for weekly figures, but good for overall games sales.
Ppl that come on VGC on a regular basis do know that the accuracy is getting better, but others still consider it's all about "guesstimation".

 Mostly the reason seems to be that VGChartz is new.. but it seems to be getting better and more accurate all the time. Also, NPD has mounted a huge PR offensive against VGChartz. 

I disagree with cryoakira, a lot of french site, and forums show us that VG has a good reputation...

NPD, Media-create, etc are all guessimations, VGChartz is no different there.

The bias I think comes from VGChartz being an unofficial site. Now if the industry started paying for the information, then people would except it MUST be accurate, even without any other change.
