I like reading absurd posts. Gives me chuckles. But often times I forget them. Go and post in this thread the most absurd notions, predictions, rumors, and speculations that you guys have read throughout the years in this forum only.
Just for laughs and reminiscence :)

Types of posts/posting trends I find absurd, outside of stuff I write (yes, the videogame industry is domed):
* Trumping up exclusives as if they are FAR superior to multiplatform games, and making the more major ones out as if they are earthshaking, change the landscape of the sales of platforms level releases. From Conduit, to Killzone 2, to Alan Wake (a bit of a lesser degree), titles aren't just trumped up as being real good the way Valk Chronicles was because it had fans, but HAS to be extra good, so that the console of choice would get more sales.
* Individuals who go into console specific forums and post doom and gloom for a certain console, and don't even have the platforming they are putting down as something they own. Such individuals will ONLY end up targeting one console specifically, and never say anything nice about competition.
* Michael Pachter as an authority on anything videogames.
* Individuals who talk down things like motion control when Nintendo has it, then get hyped about it when Sony and Microsoft fully implement it.
* Crazzyman's predictions.
* Predicting sales figures and/or how awesome a game will be, BEFORE playing it... or even the demo.
* People who post with more certainty about how things will pan out, and then being shown to be VERY wrong.
