Forums - Sales - MS vs vgchartz

From a recent thread by madskillz http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=10981 Ms is quoted as saying "With life-to-date sales of 13.4 million consoles worldwide this represents incredible software sales.
"  which seems pretty danm close to vghartz number.  Of course we don't know up to what month MS is counting but is very nice to see those numbers lineup closely within that magical 10-15% difference.  This is why I keep coming to this site and supporting it anyway I can.  Is really nice to have good sets of sales data from this site as well as the monthly stuff from NPD.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Heh. Makes me wonder why ioi is so certain (and correct) that the 360 is being undertracked by NPD. Maybe a little bird tells him. ;)
