What do YOU think of the music, dtewi?

Also did you ever play Super Mario 64

This is important

Sounds western. It's a bit catchy, and it's definitely nothing like any Mario song I heard before.

And I played, beat, and loved Super Mario 64.

I don't know if this will hit your nostalgia like it does mine, since you're like ten, but here:

It sounds totally Starfox-y to me! Really! (Which isn't a bad thing)

Friend of mine pirated it. Is playing it at the moment. He said it is almost the same thing as the first Mario Galaxy. So if you enjoyed that one then I would definitely say get it.

If you do, order it from Amazon. You get 20 dollars off your next purchase!

Okay, so instead of pointing towards the numerous incredible reviews, you have to bring in this "friend's" tenuous judgment? Methinks this is a not-so-subtle way to troll and say it's nothing but more of the first Galaxy.

Which, you know, I don't know how anybody could tell from only just starting to play it.

I was saying that for those who liked the first need to definitely get the 2nd. I wasn't trolling.

...and I don't trust reviews.

I mean, generally I don't either, but when the consensus is this unanimous it's kind of hard to discredit them.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

Reviews for MW2 and GTA4 were unanimous as well. and look how that turned out.

Looks like the soundtrack will be great as well.

Nintendo still doomed?

GTA4 is a pretty good game though, MW2 is iffy, though I'm 200% certain that it's trash on PC. SMG2 is made by the Gods though, so I don't see any reason to not buy it.

I bought the game today. To be honest, I think it's being a tad overrated.

The beginning is still slow. The whole storybook 2d mario thing was really dumb and I wish I could have skipped it. I know they are trying to get the 2d mario gamers into this game, but wouldn't it have been better to include an actual 2d level to start the game? Instead they have this thing which is more about telling the stupid story of how Princess Peach got kidnapped. Oh boy! I love that story! I want to listen to it again! Couldn't they have done something simple like New Super Mario Bros? 20-30 seconds showing princess peach getting kidnapped, that's it.

Yoshi is not as "easy" to control as reviewers make him out to be. It's hard to get the hang of using the tongue with the pointer. It would have been better if the tongue just automatically locked on to things instead of making me point at the screen.

2 players still make the game confusing. Especially with pop-up signs that come every few seconds, telling the second player what I have already told them.

You think 4 minutes is too long for Peach to be kidnapped?
