Forums - Sony - White Knight Chronicles Platinum Trophy Unlocks Special Prize In Sequel

Got a platinum trophy in White Knight Chronicles? Then your avatar in White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness will be awarded with a special item, a platinum crown or tiara depending on your character’s gender.

Trophy data from White Knight Chronicles isn’t the only thing that transfers into White Knight Chronicles 2. Your avatar’s looks, Georama, equipment, gilda, diary, and items (with stat modifications, if any) carry over too. Players also retain their guild rank and synthesis rank. Guild points, however, are not transferred since Awakening of Light and Darkness counts them differently. You also have to earn synthesis recipes again because Level 5 changed these as well. All avatars in White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness will be level 35 without any skills.

Level 5 has two more special gifts for players that reached a certain guild rank. If you’re guild rank 15 or above you’ll get a Proof of Mastery. Guild rank 12-14 avatars receive a Proof of Skill.

White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness has not been announced for North America… yet so there’s plenty of time to earn that platinum trophy.

If I'm correct, this is the fist time carryover has been done since this generation began(at the very least in jrpgs). About damn time.

Mass Effect and Ratchet and Clank did it (but they're not JRPGs )

im absolutly loving this game, including the single player, story is decent with hillarious dialogue.

i cant wait for the sequel.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Bah, I was hoping for something more epic than that

Given that the average time to get the Platinum trophy on WKC is between 600-1000 hours, it isn't worth the effort

Oh well, bring WKC 2 soon enough! I loved the first one, so i'm definetly going to get the sequel.

As well it fucking should if you go through all that trouble!

But this reward is a little underwhelming.
