No this wasn't staged, the truck had some people in the back and decided to swerve a little bit to mess with them and overcorrected his path. I hope that he was the one that the truck landed on b/c this is his fault.

That was bad. Amazing that some of the people were walking around after that impact. And that guy who missed being crushed by the truck by inches --if he survived (without permanent injury), he's the luckiest man in the world.

Tragic and pointless, though. Aside from an equipment malfunction (bald tires or something) there was absolutely no reason for that to have happened.

Well obviously it was planned. How often do you see a bunch of teenagers in the back of truck like that?

They were kids screwing around, they had friend recording it, and bam! A great internet video is born.

Looks like there were two people on the left side of the screen that the driver was trying to avoid. They may have been speeding but it doesn't look like it. I'm assuming that the tires on that truck had no treads.

Who in the fuck recorded this video? If I had to guess, I think he may have known the people in the video and they planned to do SOMETHING "Jack-Assy" before things turned ugly.

Much like falling off a motorcycle, being thrown from a vehicle doesn’t cause that significant of injuries as long as things go well. If you land so that you don’t break anything, you don’t collide with anything while you’re moving, and you don’t try to stand up while moving (which causes flipping and repeated blows to the head), the most serious injuries are going to be road-rash; and that is like someone taking a belt sander to your skin, and the speed you’re going would relate to how long they used that sander on you.

Or to put it another way, I would expect that in roll-over accidents like this (probably) half the people who were in the bed of the truck would probably walk away; with the other half being seriously injured or killed.
