Seriously people are waaayyy too hard on her. She is told what to say and do at these press conferences. It sucks that she is always remembered for that lack luster E3 08, that really wasn't her fault.

nobody deserves to be bashed like she was, sometimes i think forummers (and people on the internet generally) forget the fact that they are talking about a real person when saying really mean things about them, mostly due to the anonymous nature of the internet

Oh god, just bring Reggie and fire her. She's not a very good announcer, and player... (remembers when she died at the first Goomba during the NSMBWii showing). All she does is read words in front of a TV and she somehow manages to screw it up. Remember when she said we would get the new best thing in Mario games? She then said something about 4D... and we never got that. I meant what the hell?

She is like your best friend's annoying, whiny mom. She just doesn't come across as somebody who actually plays video games, so I find it hard to believe her enthusiasm.

Why would he fire her, its not her job to announce things and be good at video games. She's the executive VP of sales and Marketing, her job has nothing to do with the things you mentioned.
