What exactly are "noob controls"? If you're talking about aim assist, I disable it. Saying better controls are "n00bish" is like saying playing with your hands is "n00bish".

When they same gameplay retained, I hope they mean the original launch gameplay. The online changed dramatically after they updated the controls. More campers, less people working in groups, was still fun but lost some of it's edge imo.

Mind you, I knew how to handle the controls fine, I didn't really think there was a problem with them, and I was actually decent at the game (forgot my KDR, but it was positive). But there is a noticeable delay when you shoot...

 

What am I missing?

I don't know of a delay, just a weighted feel. I didn't have a delay when I shot.

I suppose that's fair enough.

 

If they can increase the framerate (though I doubt they will), I don't think there'd be as much complaints, I'd reckon.

Was it 30 fps? I doubt they are going to increase it tho.

Your account was only created in August of '08!  You weren't even around for the amazing E308, and I was hyping Killzone from the 2007 rereveal on.  This site went from everyone going "meh, Guerrilla Games" to an army of Sony fans backing GG up.  :P

Even after you showed up, just look at my contributions to the official thread (which I assume is the "review thread" you were referring to - first page says enough).  And then there's the clan thread.  And my Beta impressions I wrote for the site.  Etc.

I even had Squilliam hyped at one point!

And then there's DMJ complimenting me on me going mad with KZ2 gifs in that same thread.

So yeah, I was the man that got the Killzone hype train rolling on this site.  :P
