i just bought 3D Dot Game Heroes ! (yay!) and  the EU PS3 version of Borderlands and i have a PSN Card on me, though i don't know if it will work, but i am asking you guys in EU, did you manage to play with US players? and did anyone try playing the US Add ons?

Also more info , demand on RDR is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGEE i went there to buy it , but it sold out everywhere i asked the guy selling and he said its the most demanded game since GTAIV and people were buying it since last week.

and i also asked them whats the demand on some games, Split Second isn't popular , Modnation Racers is getting lots of demands, Alan Wake is getting moderate demands, Halo Reach preorders are rising steadily , and PoP is getting the same demand on HD system as it does on Wii

but overall all of them were overshadowed by RDR.

PS3 games are region free, but DLC is locked to the region of your online store, only solution I know of is to have an account for each region, but they maybe the odd exception to the rule.

I shared games with a Canadian guy, and he gave me DLC for dragon age but I couldn't get it to work.

I'm trying to get the UK versions of GTA DLC for the same reason.

No the US DLC will not work, the PS3 DLC is region locked.

I just went through this for Uncharted 2.
The only way to get around this is to..

1. Create a Europe PSN account
2. Order a UK PSN card from Amazon UK.
3. Redeem points from UK card on the UK PSN store while logged into your UK account.
4. Download and enjoy while logged into any account on your system!

This is all assuming the Europe PSN has UK versions of the Borderlands add-ons which you are seeking.

yeah I had the same problem with the Singapore version of Dragon Age: Origins.

with a bit of tenacity and a lot of luck you can probably get it to work but if the PSN finds out that you're lying to them they can have your accounts banned afaik.
