I just went through this for Uncharted 2.
The only way to get around this is to..
1. Create a Europe PSN account
2. Order a UK PSN card from Amazon UK.
3. Redeem points from UK card on the UK PSN store while logged into your UK account.
4. Download and enjoy while logged into any account on your system!
This is all assuming the Europe PSN has UK versions of the Borderlands add-ons which you are seeking.
