PSN Question! : Can EU Version of Borderlands play US Addons ?

i just bought 3D Dot Game Heroes ! (yay!) and  the EU PS3 version of Borderlands and i have a PSN Card on me, though i don't know if it will work, but i am asking you guys in EU, did you manage to play with US players? and did anyone try playing the US Add ons?

 

Also more info , demand on RDR is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGEE i went there to buy it , but it sold out everywhere i asked the guy selling and he said its the most demanded game since GTAIV and people were buying it since last week.

and i also asked them whats the demand on some games, Split Second isn't popular , Modnation Racers is getting lots of demands, Alan Wake is getting moderate demands, Halo Reach preorders are rising steadily , and PoP is getting the same demand on HD system as it does on Wii

but overall all of them were overshadowed by RDR.
