Hey guys, here's another gay thread made by me.

I had a discussion with my friend where I said that due to Red dead being an open world and GoW3/Uncharted2 being linear, making the graphics of Red dead match U2/GoW3 is just asking too much today. I also don't think Rockstar is known for their graphics as for instance... Naughty dog is today.

2008 we had GTA IV and MGS4. I predict a similar diffrence between both games where in my eyes MGS4 was the better looking game (by far but hey! fanboy googles...)

So my question is:
Do you guys believe Red Dead Redemption is better/matches God of War 3 or/and Uncharted 2?

No, but the graphics it has for an open world game are second to none. It makes Saints Row look like a PS2 game.

well, based on those screen shots I'd have to pick, GOW3, but that's because the main focus is basically one of GOW3's strongest graphical points. Kratos character model (compared to other character models :P)

edit: I'd say red dead looks the worst... but that doesn't mean it's not more technically impressive. Because it is sandbox. Compared to the others which are not. So that's why it looks uglier imo. TBH I've played UC2 and GOW3... and I can't tell a difference, other than artstyle. And there are somethings more impressive in GOW3, and some things more impressive in uncharted 2

How pointless can these comparisons get? If you're gonna ask something like this, at least focus on the artsyle and not the technological part, at least that way you could justify this thread's existence.

If u consider the draw distance I'd say Red Dead Redemption. If you ignore the draw distance it would be Uncharted 2.
