This thread is evil. I wish I'd never come here.

I hope you read the comments after where I explain what I meant T_T...

Seems that everyone's reading this the wrong way. I'll keep my impressions of the dog video to myself.

I am actually quite curious about your impressions of the dog video,  just because it was the only one that bothered me out of all the videos so far mentioned.  SO please do share.

So a guy being tortured and murdered on film isn't as disturbing as a dog being tortured??? Somethings off my friend...very off.

OT: sorry for the DP

Strange but true most people find it harder to observe images of animals in pain than other human beings.  Intellectually I'm more disturbed when humans are involved but like most people emotionally I have an even stronger reaction if its an animal.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I think it's mostly we assosiate animals like we do children. They are innocent and are not  capapable of knowing right and wrong as we know it.

I think that's the most likely view.  They are also clearly very unequal victims which adds to the response level I suspect.

Did you watch the 3 guys 1 hammer?  If you found the dog one more horrific... I don't even want to see that one, I like dogs :(

Yea. Seen everything in the thread except Consumption Junction, which I'm going to check out now.

Ugh... I barely watched like 20 seconds of the dog torture video. What I saw was pretty damn horrific, but the realization that someone out there has probably done something even more disgusting to a living creature and still slept well at night, is what makes it even worse...
I feel like shit, when I think that I belong in the same species as those assholes! (I actually even considered to make a racist joke about Mexicans here, but I managed to get control of myself.)

I don't think I'll ever smile again...

I don't think Consumption Junction works anymore. The owner sold it and the new owner might be running a scam.

Theres also 'Faces of Death', which was released on VHS tapes before the internet was around. That shit is really fucked up. Real life deaths on tape. We used to have sleepovers and watch the series of tapes. Most of the times we couldn't even get passed watching only a few before turning it off. Then we get bored and pop the tape back in, only to be disgusted once again.

Someone in this thread needs to have it's brain checked. Just saying.

That's a serious problem with society. When we start feeling horrible about animals being tortured, more so than human beings being tortured and killed, well, something is seriously wrong there.
