Anyone who didn't see this coming had blinders on in the first place.

Once FFXIII hit, odds were AGAINST FFXIII V being exclusive.  I called it as soon as FFXIII was announced exclusive that odds were on FFXIII V losing exclusivity at the E3 before it released.

The thing why I think some people may be pissed is they bought their PS3 specifically for that game (I know that was one of the main reasons I bought my PS3) however, there are also other games that are only on PS3 that make me not regret buying my PS3.

I think if the situation was reversed, and a game like Halo was to announce it was going multiplat you would see just as many xbox fanboy's screaming foul as well :)

It's not top 4 either.  Brain-Age and Tetris both come in ahead of FF as well.

And FF really hit it big (2m+ territory) on SFC with FFV.  The fist million selling FF in Japan was FFIII on FC though.

Really, you have it backwards... without Final Fantasy, PlayStation wouldn't have been in the top 3 consoles in Japan.

series peaked in the playstation though. exclusivity helped the game get most out of the hardware.

Final Fantasy belonged to Nintendo. Nintendo saved square's butt. It was Sony who stole it. Now karma is biting them in the ass.

Yet ps3 still get more quality games and love from 3rd part devs compared to the "leader" Wii ROFL!

- SE Announced FFXIII & FFVXIII EXCLUSIVELY for PS3.
- Fans bought PS3s just for FFXIII.
- then SE delays FFXIII every time.
- at E3 SE raised the finger for those who bought PS3s and said FFXIII will be multiplat.
- SE announced the last remnant for PC and 360 ONLY. Fans were looking forward for PS3 version.
- SE cancels the PS3 version of the last remnant.
- Sony announces FFXIV at E3 for PS3.
- After a few months, SE announced that FFXIV will be multiplat.
- SE deletes half of FFXIII and both versions will be on the same release date.
- SE delays FFVXIII.
- At that time, games like MGS went to 360 while PS3 fans still want Mass effect for PS3. Also, games like bayonetta released with a better graphics on 360 .
- Yesterday, SE said FFVXIII may come to 360.

You realized now why PS3 fans are Pissed?

LOL! nice list damn this makes me wonder hopefully next gen if PS4 leads again sony shafts S-E in return that would be 1 hell of a pay back.
