You realized now why PS3 fans are Pissed?

Because they're making things up like...

- SE announced the last remnant for PC and 360 ONLY. Fans were looking forward for PS3 version. (it was announced as 360/PS3, PC announcement came later)
- SE cancels the PS3 version of the last remnant. (not actually canceled yet, lol)
- Sony announces FFXIV at E3 for PS3. (was originally announced as 'Requiem' for 360/Vista, then as FFXIV for PS3/PC)
- After a few months, SE announced that FFXIV will be multiplat. (no 360 port yet announced, PS3+PC from original announcement)
- SE deletes half of FFXIII and both versions will be on the same release date. (nothing 'deleted' on record, pure conjecture)
- SE delays FFVXIII. (never had a date afaik)

So in short those are bound to happen either way.

BTW last remnant is officially canned for ps3 if I can recall.

Well sure, FFXIV and FFvsXIII are bound to end up on 360 imo.  Just as FFXIII and FFIX did, and SO4 ended up on PS3.  And yeah, TLR PS3 will probably be canned, due to problems with UE3 on PS3 (at the time) and the lack of market for a release now (when UE3's finally been ironed out).

But no, TLR PS3 hasn't been canceled yet officially.  In fact, SE still has it up on their website with a 'tba' release date (just like Versus).

Actually FFXIV hasnt been confirmed for Xbox because Square is in dispute about the network interface. This was a few months ago grant it. It might not actually happen because Square doesnt want users charged for use on XBL when using Square's network ie they want XBL Silver users to be able to play FFXIV online with just their MMO fee.

Square isn't a second party, and final Fantasy didn't start on a sony platform, and has appeared on numerous platforms. Why Sony fans feel such entitlement to the series is beyond me.

series peaked in the playstation though. exclusivity helped the game get most out of the hardware.

Actually, SquareSoft basically was since Sony owned the highest percentage of stock in the company. Once Square merged with Enix, Sony lost majority rule.

Sucks for FF fans.

They got used to best of the best quality, but now their games are being watered down.

And how will you react when EA announce that mass effect will be comeing to the PS3 one one disc, Mass effect collection?

no it wasn't even close, Sony has to own 50% to have majority rule.  Highest percentage doesn't equal majority rule.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Sony fans can only really be angry with Sony. Sony made it very clear last year that 3rd party titles are NOT THE FOCUS of the PS3. I have no doubt they could have EASILY kept FFXIII and FFvXIII exclusive is they wanted to.

As Playstation fans we should be happy the PS3 is not a 3rd party only machine (like the PS2). Look at the amazing games we have been given BY SONY this gen. In the PS1/2 days Sony did not have to work NEARLY as hard as they do today to win customers. I for one and glad Sony is turning into a Big Publishing/Development Company. While the total number of first party games might be higher (and probably is) in past gens, this gen the % of Sony published titles is definitely higher.

Besides, this confirms nothing. Just wait to blow up when/if they do actually make the announcement. Im guessing same situation as FFXIII, exclusive only in Japan.
