Forums - Nintendo - Are games Nintendo announce at E3 still released a year later?

Because if Zelda Wii is shown this June, then it will probably come out in the Spring. I hope Nintendo is feeling extra generous (and smart) and release Zelda in the Holiday season when it will have the best sales.

If it's not the Holiday game for 2010, then it'd better be Pikmin 3! I do NOT want Wii Party (or whatever it's called) to be Nintendo's holiday game. Is anyone confident about a 2010 Zelda release?

(p.s does anyone remember me? :x)

Not always... New Super Mario Bros was announced in the same year of releasing.

I too believe that Zelda Wii is going to appear this year... but if not, I think it's better, since the BIG holiday title will be another huge game - no, it's not going to be another wii music year.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was annouced last E3 and it was released 5 months later so not necessarily.

I'm new so I don't remember you. XP Sorry

Oh, there's hope then!! I was thinking that since Galaxy 2 and Metroid: OM have taken a year to be released since they were revealed, the same might happen for Zelda Wii. I hope not.
Come on, Nintendo. Make us happy!!

No, not necessarily. That's just something some people on the internet dreamed up.

I remember you.

As for release schedules, for official announcements (ie not counting Zelda/Pikmin) Nintendo seems to be keeping most releases within a year of the announcement, or close at least. Some of them release much quicker though.

I still expect Zelda this year, I wouldn't be particularly suprised if it was moved into early next year, but at the moment I still think it will come in November/December.

Any idea about Golden Sun? It was announced last year...and that's...all I've really heard about it...

Well actually I don't really follow DS games much, was that announced at E3 last year?

Still, hearing nothing from Nintendo isn't a sign that the game is being canned like many other publishers.

Sorry, I don't know who you are

ot: I think i will release in 2011, I hope iI'm wrong
