I know, some people said that I was insanse, but there is a huge second hand game market out there, plus piracy, losing out on $5 or $10 bucks is not going to break the bank (but it could have bought me 5 meals @ Taco Bell).

I bought mine in May 2008 on a bit of impulse since it was in stock on Amazon.

Mine is currently unhooked and I haven't played it since January when three others and I beat NSMB Wii, before that it had been a few months since I had beaten FE:RD and had played it. Between my PS3/360 and life in general, I don't have much time for the Wii.

I don't have any immediate plans to play it and I have thought about selling it. (I have 4 Wii Motes/Nunchuks) The core Nintendo games just don't interest much anymore. I couldn't care less about Galaxy, a new Zelda doesn't excite me and I've never been big on Metroid. That said, I'm likely keeping it for Arc Rise Fantasia, Xenoblade, Epic Mickey and as a contingency in case KH3 goes there. There is also DQX, but I'm not a big DQ fan.

no i dont sell consoles until the end of a gen, even when there are periods of me not using it i know there will be a games that come out later on that i will want to play on it and in the long run it's easier and cheaper just to keep it till that time.

A decent reason if you're not really a fan of Nintendo. I on the other hand am a true gamer so I play games no matter what the console. I've even got 2 PSP's so we can play Dissidia's vs mode. XD

The other aspect is the possibility of games that could come out on both wii and PS3, such as Red Steel 3 or Boom Blox 3. You'll miss the nintendo offerings, but that may be about it.

No, selling consoles is stupid, especially one with Nintendo games on it.

I'd never sell my Wii. 360 maybe - I just use it for WRPGs, otherwise I don't click with the games on it (but my son does). Ironically, I don't care for most classic Nintendo franchises either, never been into 3D Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero, etc. Mind you I love Brawl, Endless Ocean, Mario Kart and Fire Emblem and the play time on those alone more than justifies the Wii.
