If you're Yoichi Wada and you have a bunch of followers on Twitter asking you about release dates, things can get old really fast. But the Square Enix president isn't going to lash back at the queries - he just displays a little sense of humor.

Asked about the release of Final Fantasy XIV, Wada simply replied, "Someday in 2010. God knows. I’m not a god."

God knows.

If that makes one doubt his authority over at HQ, he doesn't think much of it. When asked if he's the Square Enix president, "Yes, sometimes."

Final Fantasy XIV has already been announced for a vague 2010 release, and it doesn't seem like they're going to miss that deadline. If we are going to get the exact date on that, it probably won't be via Twitter E3, maybe?

I'm hoping for July, or at least before the new WoW x-pac comes out :P

Despite his poor job managing Square Enix, I do enjoy Wada's sense of humor.

If only we could play that free of charge it would be a nice addition.
