I decided to create an independent thread about this because...

1: This news is very much annoying.

and 2: Because I have nothing else better to do.

As most of you know, SMG 2 is being released in the US on the 23rd of this month (yay) and for other places around the world it's releasing early June. However, Australia's release date will be on the 1st of July.

I'm very much used to games being released months after America, but it has just gotten me thinking that there might be an ulterior motive as to why Australia is getting it last.

The ulterior motives name is...... James Burt. A person who decided it would be hilarious to take advantage of the early australian release date of New super mario bros. Wii by pirating it. He got what he deserved with getting a huge fine. Though now it seems that Nintendo has a grudge against the rest of us Australians because of his actions.

I'm far more wont to blame NAL incompetence. As the saying goes, never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.

XD I have no doubt that you could. Seeing as Australia will probably get a delay till September or something just a few days before it's release.

This is not acceptable in 2010. Even fucking Square-Enix can ship their games down here the same time as the US these days. Screw you Nintendo.

I bet i still won't have reached HR31 in MH3 by the time it releases, so i don't care about waiting.

But this does look like an import, especially if we never see an Aussie release for SnP2
