6 minutes to load up a race? NOT true. We've seen videos of the full retail game on youtube, and they are 45 seconds MAX. A patch is coming right away so it should be a small inconvenience after that.
after playing the demo the load times are horrible
I'm going to wait until there is a patch on this one before I buy it.

I don't know. PS1 had some pretty long load times, but they used to try to cover them up with cool cut scenes and stuff.
The PS3 should follow the PS1's lead.
