i think versus can definitely sell 6 million or more....
see Metal Gear Solid 4 it sold 0.74 mil in japan , 2.18 mil in americas and 1.79 mil in others = 4.75 mil
see Final Fantasy XIII it sold 1.84 mil in japan , 1.00 mil in americas and 1.16 mil in others. (PS3 version) = 4.00 mil

this shows that Final Fantasy XIII lost alot of its sales in americas (due to the Xbox 360) and others.
anyway it got the lowest review ever for a final fantasy games thats why not alot of people buy it.

i can definitely predict Versus to more than Final Fantasy XIII PS3 and possibly Xbox 360 combined.
maybe like this 2.00 mil in japan , 1.50 mil in americas and 1.75 mil in others = 5.25 mil.

i may be eating crow though LOL.

Yea because FF Crystal Chronicles for the Wii did so much better.

OT:  Probably wont outsell FFVII but ill take a chance and say it'll out sell FFXIII

You can't compare a spin-off game with an installment in the franchise.

I seriously doubt it can outsell PS360 FFXIII and PS360 FFXIII is gonna be well short of FFVII.

If by some miracle Vs XIII outsells PS360 FFXIII then it will make a pretty good case to continue, at least in part, with Playstation exclusivity for FF games. But it won't, so it won't.

Unless Square Enix gets their 1990s focus back, no Final Fantasy or non-Dragon Quest IP will ever outsell FF7. Their talent isn't good enough.
