Forums - Nintendo - Link's Crossbow Training...yay or nay?

I love rail shooters. This is a rail shooter. I love Zelda games. This is a Zelda game. Ergo, I'll be picking it up sooner or later. :)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

It's not really on rails but get it anyway

Ah, whatever; it's still a light-gun games, and light-gun games are, by definition, awesome.

I like it, getting platinum medals is a bitch though.

I love it. Like you said it feels like a rebirth of duckhunt. I have 6/9 platinum medals so far.  I haven't tried the zapper in RE:UC yet.  I probably won't like it if you have to hold the Nunchuck separately like you said.  RE:UC is awesome without the Zapper anyway.

I'd consider it, but we Europeans are getting shafted deep with pricing again. Since when has 20 dollars converted into 30 euros? Sure the dollar is weak, but it shouldn't be that much of an issue for a Japanese company that produces everything in China.

Yeah, the rip-off pricing definitely makes me think twice about buying this. We all know about taxes and all that stuff, but the traditional $ = € rule should suffice. It seems to work for most gaming related stuff, why not for the Zapper?

I agree with the Duck Hunt 2007 idea, and I love it. Ialso agree the platinum medals are pretty hard to get (I only have 3 currently).

At $20 this is a bargain, I have used the Zapper for this game and for MOH:H2. It works better here, but it is a nice option in MOH as well, though reloading was a little touchy until I got used to it. Still waiting on my RE:UC on B/O from the TRU B2G1F.

BAM! There it is!

I just got my 7th platinum.  Only levels 8 and the Final Level to go!

Its a yay!

I was watching a few gameplay videos on this game and the game looks rather entertaining none of the less. And for only $25USD its rather a good price and it includes the WiiZapper.

If only I could find a Wii at my local stores...

I have to agree, if Links crossbow training on it's own was 25$ or if the zapper was.. I'd have been disappointed but at 25 for both, it was awesome. Worth every penny, especially with House of the Dead 2&3 coming "Early" next year. I love those games.. I used to dump so many quarters in them now if only someone would make "Carnevil" or a sequel to it on the Wii OMG! Can we say heaven?

Edit: Anybody remember or recently play Carnevil?
