Forums - Nintendo - Link's Crossbow Training...yay or nay?

I picked this up on it's release date and it's a pretty addicting high score game. It's like a new age Duck Hunt full of Zelda fan service(that's a good thing) and it's only 20 dollars and it comes with a piece of plastic as well! Haven't seen anyone talking about this one, I think most people that liked Duck Hunt back in the day should pick it up.

To those that have it, do you like it? What's your favorite level? I like the boat level and the one where you attack the birds from the bridge. There are lots of other great ones but those two are my favorite. Lots of variety in this title.

why did I think people would have an opinion on this game...it sold like 3 copies afterall.

I just like the fact that it revisits almost every area from Twilight Princess. For my case, it's a good way to practice my skills with the Wii Zapper until I can get my hands on Umbrella Chronicles, which I'll be getting for Christmas (yay, shooting zombies at Christmas...!) along with Ghost Squad.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

it seems like a cheap cash in from nintendo, like their nerf or sport add on things.

I think the Zapper is kind of lame with Resident Evil...I don't like holding the nunchuck in one hand and the zapper in the other. It just feels off. But UC is a great game, especially in co-op!

Why would you hold the nunchuck in your other hand when playing RE:UC? It has two controller styles, with Wii Zapper or without, I don't think holding zapper in one hand and nunchuck in the other would be easy/fun at all >_>

Just use the Zapper fully put together. Works better that way since it is a two-handed weapon.

The only annoying part using it in RE:UC is when to avoid something it says shake the nunchuck >_>

I haven't played the training much, just kind of jumped into RE:UC since I bought them at the same time, then Galaxy came to my doorstep the next day so, it's been a balacing act for me.

I hate you! Why there is no Japanese version!

That's how you're supposed to hold it for the Zapper setting. It even shows it that way. I tried the other way like you said and I also find it annoying when I have to shake the nunchuck to use my knife or dodge. During the boss battles that can be the difference between life or death...so that's why I say the Zapper doesn't work well with this game.

I'd consider it, but we Europeans are getting shafted deep with pricing again. Since when has 20 dollars converted into 30 euros? Sure the dollar is weak, but it shouldn't be that much of an issue for a Japanese company that produces everything in China.

I say yay. I like it.
