A couple years ago I was reading the comment section on Joystiq and someone metioned it.  I jumped over to check it out and liked the weekly sales figures so i started visiting once a week to see the new numbers.  A little bit later I began reading the forums and now visit the site almost daily.

Go Nintendo used it in the early days. I kept using it, cause, it's the only place I could find, that can keep a games you own list.

i was on a discussion page on Wikipedia and they said they don't use vgcgartz as a source and wanted to see sales to i look it up. now i use it every day.

Was curious to see a sales chart website, so I googled something along those lines and ended up here and kept coming back since, though oddly I dont actually come here regulary to see the sales charts :D

I was on a different site where a poster posted a link of this site.

around the beginning of this generation 2006-ish i was interested in knowing how the ps3/wii/360 were doing in terms of sales and found this site.. lurked until before e3 2008 but never really had a reason to sign up, as you can see i don't really post much.
