Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Power Line to be shuttered down

You aren't a true Nintendo fan if you never called these guys!

(I called them to figure out how to get the secret exit to reach soda lake in Super Mario World)

It's the end for them, they are worthy of an epic good bye. Here's the ending song of Zelda: A Link to the Past, I'm sure many players called them to ask about this game.

Farewell!

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

I remember calling them once. For the life of me my friend and I couldn't figure out to play 2 play battletoads.

Hold SELECT on the second controller? What the hell, battletoads? Why couldn't you have a menu. In fact you DID have a menu, you just didn't have a 1-player or 2-player option and instead the second player had to press select... and I'm pretty sure it doesn't mention that in the instruction booklet... so how was anyone supposed to freaking know!

Wow! Its amazing that it was still even up..

Wow. What possessed them to keep it open this long?

I wonder how many people called it so far this year.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I actually remember calling once, but only once.

R.I.P. Power Line.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

I called once long ago I can not recall what it was for though. I think it had something to do with Dragon Warrior 1, or perhaps it was Metroid I do not recall forsure.

Long life to the Power Line.
