Here are the Starter Pokemon, in case you haven't seen them already.

Man, this game looks so cool. Why didn't they make HeartGold/SoulSilver look this good? I'm a little disappointed that this isn't a launch title for 3DS, but oh well. Anyway, these screenshots amaze me so much. They are just beautiful. I absolutely love the new 3D feeling.

Notice how the grass guy is closer to it's enemy in the 7th shot instead of at the lower left corner like every other battle shot? Do you think that means anything?

Anyway, I like the town and overworld shots but the battle scenes seem kinda dull, specially the sprites for the pokemón backs are still bad.

The female trainer's hair looks like it could house hornets!

I'm willing to say that this is in-game. However, it's not in-gamePLAY. I'm gonna say it's a partially prerendered "area entrance" shot, like when you go into a cave or something in HG/SS.

It might be an area-entrance shot, but I don't think so. I think that it is just concept art

I mean, just look at the clouds. They look way too detailed for a DS game.

I like the whole 'new dimension' view. Especially in the screenshot where the character is running down the street and there's a shop with people crowded there. Looks really cool.

Still my opinion about the starters are unchanged. A) Gonna start with the Grass Dude and B) Fire Breathing Pig is just ridiculous.

Pre-rendered content can be as detailed as one wants. In concept, the SNES was capable of displaying nearly perfect images. It just didn't because that was a waste of valuable space.

^What about resolution? That picture has, like, 4 times as many pixels as a DS screen if I'm not mistaken.
