What will your starting Pokemon be?

I choose you Tsutaja! (Grass Snake Pokemon) 19 50.00%

Go Pokabu! (Fire Pig Pokemon) 8 21.05%

Come on out Mijumaru! (Sea Otter Pokemon) 11 28.95%

Total:38

Now that the dust has settled on the wake of the announcement of the new starters, only one question remains: which Pokemon will you choose to start your adventure?

We have the Grass Snake Pokemon, Tsutaja:

We have the Fire Pig Pokemon, Pokabu:

And we have the Sea Otter Pokemon, Mijumaru

Of course, those are the Japanese names, so they will change. So who will you choose?

the sea otter of the Allied Athiest Alliance

I'm liking the look of the grass one, myself, but ultimately it'll come down to an analysis of the gym leaders to see which is optimally placed against them. I've always made the choice that way.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'll be going with the grass snake, it'll be the first time ever I don't choose a fire starter. I really don't like pigs.

Sea otter type one. I always start with water for some reason.

I'll wait till I know what their final evolved forms look like. The beginner form only last for like the first 2 hours of the game.

I'm going with the sea otter on this one. It could change depending on the final evolution though.

Oh my Science!

I'll be choosing him as well. That nose has been growing on me.

@Mr Khan

I've always chosen the Water type, and it always seems that they've been under the normal difficulty as far as starting goes.

Hardest challenge at the beginning:

1st Gen: Fire (Brock, Misty)
2nd Gen: Grass (Faulkner, Bugsy)
3rd Gen: Fire (Roxanne)
4th Gen: Fire (Roark)

At this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to even buy the game in the first place, but out of these three, Mijumaru looks the most interesting. I don't know why, though. Maybe I just have a fetish for water Pokemon. () The only water Pokemon that didn't end up being my favorite of the starting 3, was Mudkip.

these pokemon look stupid and kiddy, here's hoping their evolutions look cooler.

As for starter pokemon, I always start with all of them, done so since gold version, I just simply play the games multiple times, and trade with my sis each time till we both have all 3 pokemon the legit way, so no preference for me XD
