Very cool article....I am lterally obssessed with FF--can't wait for this to come out.  If a ps3 would have cost a $1000 and had NO games coming out at all except for FFXIII and versus XIII...I still would have bought one.

It will be a  GLORIOUS day when this is released--I just hope they take their time and do it right.



Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

I believe it will be one of the best RPG's out there but the fact that it has the AWFUL (IMO) battle system and that the game looks so "futuristic" is a huge turn-off for me.

I would not buy a system for one game, even if it were final fantasy. I would borrow it from my firend with too much cash ;). And easy with this FF. Remember that every single FF had great previews, was praised for graphics, sound and gameplay. We have yet to make a true assumption on this matter.

Not sure how a few of you are making assumptions on this or Versus, when practically nothing is known.

I'm thinking FF6 remake for DS may be the best RPG.

I love the ff12 battle system. It changed the feel of FF a little, though I feel it was an enhancement that kept FF fresh. Also I loved the ff12 battle system for when I was lazy :P let the party auto kill :D But atleast there was a few options to for the player to choose a style that suited them.

FF13 :D I can't wait. Skye is going to be one kick ass chick :D
