People Can Fly previously made Painkiller, and also extra content for the PC version of Gears of Wa.

Oh. I never played Piankiller but from what I understood it was compared to Serous Sam a lot. Not just becase of the low budget. Painkiller was like Serious Sam, only indoors?

No - Painkiller was basically Serious Sam Goes to Hell.

Hell is always nice.


Actually hell kinda sucked in Dantes Inferno. Hope it can bounce back with this game...

Sam and Max in Hell!!! Oh noes wait...that was already done :/

I read the preview of Bulletstorm in GI while on the shitter, looked interesting, I liked the idea of hand to hand combat in an Unreal game. I'm hoping for more than just a kick in the final build, was thinking it'd be like FEAR :(

It definitely looks like a lot of fun, but I hope there is some other features than just shoot and get points.

um Half-life 2? Resistance? yaknow games with intriguing stories?

or how bought borderlands? that game is fun as hell single player.

 

not every shooter needs to be Mulitplayer oriented like COD or Halo
